Yogi, The problem is, action is rarely taken when the books are cooked. It is after there is a blowup that they start looking. Admittedly, most homicide cops investigate after the murder. But there are still cops on the street who take a hard look at a guy walking down the sidewalk with a big knife in his hand. The SEC operates as if having a law on the books is sufficient.

They need more money for quantity and quality. All the SEC auditors I met were nice, smart folks with just about zero experience. And none had experience in options and futures, where I operated. As soon as they get that experience, they hit the bid and go somewhere where they can make some money and a new greenie comes in.
