Credit card features and rates can be easily compared at www.bankrate.com.

You plug in the features you want--no annual fee, or lowest rate, or longest grace period, or rebates/perks, and it lists the available cards that suit your needs. Pretty convenient.

Anyone paying over 10% interest needs counseling.

Agreed. I have a friend who keeps his balances on an expensive card because he claims it makes him more likely to pay them off instead of roll them up (but he does any way) because it bums him out to pay high interest. I told him maybe he should consider putting soap in his eyes before he writes the checks every month if he needs aversion therapy. It would be cheaper.

>>Every month I'm getting a few offers for 0% APR credit cards

Yeah, then if you take time to read the fine print you'll see that's maybe for the first 30 or 60 days. After that they jack it up to like 12.5% or more.
