Hammer is going to rule. All the digital animation sever farms will adopt it. Anyone that wants a beowolf cluster will buy it. Most Linux servers sold in Europe will host it. Most software developers will want one. Apple and SUN will probably adopt it. Dell will have to sell it. And, I will be one of the first in line.

You missed out the most important category - all the masses wanting to spend $1500 on a PC will want a 64bit one instead of a 32bit one.

Hammer can become a mainstream CPU - there is nothing, to my knowledge, that limits it to server/workstation applications.

You're making me want to buy more stock. ;) How are you playing this? I'm tempted to just buy more now and hold.

TIA,
