i think you make a good point...scanning for stocks that are in accumulation mode and catching them right before the break-out seems to be the most efficient way to trade...

3 years ago, you could wait for the break-out and buy into the huge momentum, volume would continue to come in and the stocks would bust out large, but this isn't 1999/2000 and imo, most of the time, the break-out is where i have to start unloading, not after, or the volume dries up and down she goes...so taking a position w/ a tight stop while a stock is in accumlation mode and taking some profits into the break-out volume is what i'm looking for..

of course, from time to time, i'll sell into a break-out and she'll run up another 50-100% without me, lol...but i'm the king of selling too early anyway : )

Mark, I am going to wait for a breakout on SBAS, it seems that PLUG is breaking out.
