Were they murdered? If it's murder in Israel, is the US equally guilty of "war crimes?" No. we don't deliberately target civilians during war, and neither does Israel. Unless, of course, you persist in maintaing a double standard. You are also a fool if you believe the majority of Israelis killed by bombers have been soldiers, unless you subscribe to the psychotic notion that by virtue of universal conscription all Israelis are soldiers--even the aged and the children. If you have been paying attention, you would certainly have heard the Islamists claim that all Israelis are fair game. Despite Ariel Sharon being a thug and a provocateur, the occupation of "Palestinian" land has not been illegal by any international law or UN proclamation which did not specify exactly which lands must be returned after the 1967 war. I will agree that the settlements must be dismantled, but somehow Israel was able to secure peace with Egypt and Jordan after returning all land captured in 1973 without so much as a shot fired since. In 2000, Arafat was offerred all land and a part of Jerusalem. It still wasn't enough for him. He has made it clear since that the only thing that will satisfy him now is the destruction of the Jewish state. The answer is no. Tough shit.Isn't it Israel that brutally murderers mostly innocent unarmed civilians by using the most sophisticated military weapons know to man? The fact that you deliberately overdraw this contract says more about you than it does about Israel. Your statement is thoroughly false.Isn't it Israel that fights a WAR using tanks, helicopter gunships, missles, modern jets, and naval gunships against a Palestinian populations that has NO Army, NO Airforce, NO tanks, NO helicopter gunships, NO naval gunships. Yes. We did the same in Afghanistan. Against the same type of enemy. Should we apologize?
