He says his wife is a "Jewish princess". Think an unhappy marriage he can't leave or even acknowledge as unhappy could have something to do with it?

I'd wager she's the bread-winner while Emile spends his days on his "ministry" or odd-ball political crusades*. I'd bet she rules the roost at home and griping about Zionism and "Talmudic Judaism" and "Jewish Communism" is his only outlet.
