Of course. Intel does this with Xeon, even though I hardly think that DP Xeon chips deserve the better name brand, since they are virtually identical to the desktop parts (except for Hyperthreading support, but after this year, even that differentiation will disappear). IMO, only the large cache chips deserve the better "Xeon" brand. But since AMD has gotten so good at copying Intel (not insulting necessarily - it's simply the truth, and copying Intel has gained them plenty of advantages in the past), I would expect them to apply the same marketing tactic to Opteron.
