It goes back even further, but the area that is Israel has been continuously occupied in just the last 2500 years by: The Persian Empire. Macadonia. Rome. Byzantium. Western Europe (for about 75 years during the Crusades). The Ottoman Empire. The British Empire. Israel. At no time has there ever been a "Palastinian State". It is a fiction of the anti-semitic backward current occupants of parts of the region. There is no justification for a "Palastinian State", as they have proven-and still prove-too backward for stable rule. They may live in peace in Israel-and prosper far better than any of the shithole Arab nations who don't want them anyway. And they will have peace, one day, when they finally get around on that concept...
