Ted, have you read Stephen Covey's book, "Seven Habits of Highly Effective People?" The author mentions that effective people follow the Character Ethic, while ineffective people are a slave to the Personality Ethic. I think the author would agree that, despite being a master politician, Clinton displayed all the traits of an ineffective leader. Tenchusatsu, I am not familiar with the book. So if you can give me a brief description of the Character Ethic vs the Personality Ethic, it will help to better understand the issue. ted
