I feel the debate would be illuminated by your making clear (illumining, shall we say) precisely what acts you would allow without advocating the homosexual be subjected to the misery of social opprobrium.

You don't want that clear. You prefer to keep it vague, to not pin it down to what human beings are being forbidden or allowed to do in your idioverse, on pain of opprobrium.

I hope next time you advocate opprobrium you will think "For what, precisely? What would I approve, precisely? What would I disapprove, precisely?"

If there are to be penalties, the crime must be spelled out. Maybe after you've thought about it, you can spell it out.
