Do we need a new word for someone who is disgusted and sickened and morally outraged by homosexuality, but does not hate them or have an irrational fear of them? Or is there one out there already?

I can't think of one. I'm not sure that discussion focuses on that characteristic of that particular group of people often enough that simply the phrase "people who are intolerant of homosexuality". For those who are tolerant but dislike or disapprove of or are disgusted by you can just substitute those words for intolerant.

O.K. I'm out of the closet...literally! I spent the day trying on clothes to see which make me look young and svelte in celebration of a serious birthday milestone. After a few glasses of wine, they all look good. Or is that the 'funny' mirror I bought at the amusement park that was closing last week? Whatever!

My perspective on life is still pretty clear and I wonder why there is a need to put a label on anyone's opinion..right or left...right or wrong? Is this still the shoot the messenger and don't listen to the message routine? Don't we tell our kids to wait and think before they speak? Isn't it important to at least listen to the other side's opinion before we just go off on our own tirade? What's that old expression about to listen twice as much as you speak? In this case, it's to read twice as much as you type.

Hey...what do I know? I'm just trying to survive another decade! All of your points have validity but the responses are way over the line.

Have fun. I am planting and smelling the roses...and planning on figuring out what I can do in the next decade of my life.

Here's to the future!
