Tonel in English is a lounge singer with laryngitis got from a social disease. It means that Argentinians are better off converting their dollar accounts to physical gold and hiding it under their beds, rather than accepting government bonds. Something tells me they are beat already, as who would take a gov't bond for gold? What a government. No cash. Just debts, so they steal the citizen's dollars to pay their debts. Nice guys. I would have a revolution prontissimo.

Government theft is how the English started banks. They could trust the Jewish goldsmiths more than they could trust the fr. Kings, who stole the money and jewels the people had vested in the Tower of London, in order to start foreign wars. They are still doing it.

The Kings of old were slightly more honest than the government today. They only levied taxes when they needed to. They didn't just tax wage earners a percentage, and then then figure out where to spend it.
