Speaking of cable TV p.m. squawk shows, it seems as if Marc Racicot, GOP National Committee chairman, got his feathers ruffled after mixing it up with James Carville.

Following from 4/24/02 Washington Post:

*****************************************************
"During his breakfast with reporters, Racicot also complained about the culture of Washington and in particular the tone of political debate on cable television. Racicot, according to GOP sources, was particularly bruised by a recent appearance on CNN's "Crossfire" in which he was fiercely interrogated by Democratic host James Carville.

Yesterday, Racicot declined to say whether he would appear on that program in the future, but said he had no intention of becoming "a prop for the theatrical demonstrations of someone else."
********************************************************
I guess Mr. Racicot will restrict his forays in the future to the safe harbor of Faux News TV, which practices "fair and balanced" news coverage by way of Sean Insanity and Bill "Outrage" O'Reilly.

Too funny.
