Hi ns, Also found that serious investing takes a lot of time. Most folks don't realize this Amen, you've hit the nail on the head. It takes an incredible amount of time especially at the stage I'm at (rank amateur). My wife say's <<you're always in front of that damn machine working>>. In reality fully 60% of my computer time is regarding investing and learning related things. The other 40% is my job. I develop software etc... I remember feeling sorry (almost :o) for the financial advisor I canned a few years back. I realised that basically he didn't know much more than I except for his stable of products. The community of folks on these boards have been a great source of knowledge and 'how to' help..... regards Kastel
