hey...i never said csco will go under $10 when it warns....likely csco will just test it's 52 week low and bounce...not to break down until later in the year..perhaps when wcom files chapter 11 in early 2003.

I think when csco reports or warns it could market the bottom of this leg down for stocks like NT...even WCOM. there is a chance of a short covering rally following csco warning...everyone thinks they are going to warn...once all the bad news is out in the sector we should see a bounce...the sector is over sold...due for a bounce...
I still wouldn't bother playing it long though..with all the scandal and investigations going on for stocks like NT, WCOM, etc...even csco...you never know what tomorrow will bring.

Real estate has been good to me in the last couple of years too. Not a bad place to park your money as a defensive play, especially with an aggressively easing Fed, as we saw in the last couple of years. As far as Cisco goes, why does everyone keep saying WHEN Cisco warns? I doubt they will warn, because if they were going to, they would have warned already. So my guess is that they will cross their fingers, and pray that they make their numbers by quarter close. Either way, we'll know by May 7th. I too agree with you that if Cisco misses, the stock will drop like a rock and may very well go below $10, at which point I'll sell my house and buy. <vbg>
