Jeeeez Dale looks like I spoke too soon about the worst being over for this cycle. Typically the markets have been overshooting on the downside in advance of earnings season -- and then recover as the earnings come in. The earnings are coming in -- in this post Enron meltdown environment, and the international news continues to be worrisome. I still think we are bottoming -- but what does that mean ? In the past I've said S&P 500 = 1000 is always possible, NASDAQ 1650ish still possible. I guess that's more true than ever today.
