Hi Dale -- this chart gives an interesting perspective ...

There always a chance of another swift legs down, but chart suggests:

1) we have retraced to 1997/1998 levels

2) the market is base building

The NASDAQ is a toughy to use as a predictive indicator since it is so tied to the greed/fear factors. Also, there were sooo many IPOs in 1998 - 2000, I have no clue that the total number of NASDAQ shares were back in 1998 vs. today.

It's good to hear NY Attorney General is going after institutions on pushing telecom companies...I hope they hand out criminal indictments...
