SoundView Technology Group, Inc. is a technology-focused investment banking and brokerage firm that provides services
to an institutional and issuer client base. For the fiscal year ended 12/31/01, revenues decreased 56% to $163.8 million. Net
loss totaled $332.7 million, up from $22 million. Revenues reflect lower investment banking fees earned due to a reduced
number of public stock offerings. Higher loss also reflects $288.9 million in impairment and other special charges.

MAXF is an international and domestic inter-dealer brokerage firm, specializing in emerging market debt, money market
instruments, derivatives, natural gas and electricity, repurchase agreements and other fixed income securities. For the fiscal
year ended 12/31/01, total revenues rose 17% to $154.8 million. Net income applicable to Common totaled $9 million, up
from $2 million. Results reflect a new agency securities brokerage team and lower communication and occupancy costs.

Sndv's market cap it $252MM, maxf's is currently $51MM.

A $252MM market cap would put maxf at about $35.
