When gold gets to $3000 an ounce, I'm going to start charging the pile on speculators thousands for the opportunity to dig in my seeded gold fields!!!!! I'm buying the trinkets now to strategically throw into the woods and down by the stream.

Of course one little problem might occur in the meantime. IF/When Gold gets to 3000 an ounce? Do you reckon we'll all be living happily and relatively prosperous and in relative freedom? Gold holdings or no gold holdings? Those $3000 an ounce trinkets might have to buy someones ass out of a death camp or something. Not to mention having wealth might make you a big target for the new world thugs. IF only Kevin Costner had some Gold in that mailbag? Of course Merrill Pimp will still be around..........

Got gold? Just in case? <ggg>?

doesn't it seem kind of silly that csco alone has enough cash to buy worlds largest mining company in the world.
nem.

each dow stock, on it's own is worth more then all the gold companies in the world combined.

in the week of sept 11. the us fed printed (created new) enough money to buy all the oil that us uses in one year. since leaving the gold standard money supply has been increasing by over 11% a year. 14% in the last couple years.

historically the dow bottoms on pull backs so that 1 ounce of gold = the dow. a return to that ratio would likely place the dow around the 2500-3500 mark with gold.

i'm not some doom and gloomer or what ever...I've just read history books and no that everything in life is cyclical. I expect the cyclical relationships to continue in the future.

ratio of number of ounces of gold to buy an average home says either gold rises 6 times or homes get smoked to 1/6. I think homes lose about 30% and gold will rise about 4-5 times..then they can both rise together as the world government monetize national debts.

good luck,
