llmarinen. Progress seems so slow in Europe and even in the US. The 1X EVDO will take a long time to hit the
US . Yet Japan and Korea have it running -- ot will by May 31. In US we have to wait on our slow moving network operators, Sprint and Verizon.

I suppose the CDMA 450 users can install it on their networks if they wish. But I suppose Europe sees it as unnecessary, un-needed, impractical etc. I think maybe Europe rejects change, flash, and ideas from abroad off hand.

Looks NTT's W-CDMA vs 1XEVDO head-to-head in Japan. Loss of face in Japan is so terrible that I wonder if the Japanese people will accept something from Korea and US that works brtter than FOMA which was invented there at great cost.
