Investors withdrew $6.1 bln from stock mutual funds in the latest week, reversing inflows of $6.9 bln the week before, Trim Tabs reported Thursday. Over the five-day period ended Wednesday, equity funds that invest primarily in U.S. stocks had outflows of $3.3 bln, compared with inflows of $5.8 bln the prior week. International equity funds saw outflows of $2.8 bln, vs. inflows of $1.2 bln the previous week, the Santa Rosa, Calif.-based flow analyst said. Trim Tabs tracks the daily flows of ninety fund families, representing about 15% of all equity fund assets, to arrive at its weekly estimates.
