Electric City CEO to Present at Berenson Minella & Company and the Williams Capital Group 26th Annual Public Utility Seminar Series
CHICAGO, Feb. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Electric City Corp. (Amex: ELC) announced today that its Chief Executive Officer, John Mitola will be a presenter at Berenson Minella & Company and The Williams Capital Group 26th Annual Public Utility Seminar Series.
The Seminar will be held at Boston Harbor Hotel in Boston Massachusetts on February 11th and 12th. Mr. Mitola will discuss Electric City's ongoing growth, its technologies and the Company's continued acceleration towards participation in the wholesale energy power market with its Virtual Negawatt Power (VNP) and Shared Savings (SS) financing projects.
"We look forward to presenting the Electric City growth story at this prestigious energy conference," stated John Mitola, CEO of Electric City Corp. "Competitive energy conservation technologies are the most cost-effective and practical set of solutions to long-term energy capacity constraints. Today, our EnergySaver technology is operating at hundreds of our scalable customers' sites, delivering demand reduction and energy savings on a daily basis. Our ability to scale, multi-site EnergySaver systems via our internet-based, GlobalCommander controls, creates a virtual, power reduction system. This system captures what would otherwise constitute wasted power, allowing us to re-sell that power to other utilities and end users. This VNP concept allows Electric City and our customers to compete head to head with traditional power producers directly into the wholesale power market generating additional financial returns to Electric City and our Customers."
The Seminar series will include presentations by management of other leading energy and utility companies.
