Been doing the lonely trader gig - helps for focus, but sometimes the tunnel vision that gets you. I'm just finishing up with improvements to my new trading room (build a new wraparound desk/station - slow going as I don't have your skills with a hammer), but haven't added a laptop yet - plan for it by next summer before we go on vacation ('course gotta convince my bride that I'll not stay on it 24/7 while we're at Chelan). I'll happily share what I know about AB. For a coder like yourself, you'll fall in love with it. Runs with QP data (no need to import daily) so you can even work funnymentals into scans if you want. Free 30 trial (tho won't save your database or charts), but when you realize you're getting a platform more powerful than MS, TS or GET for $79 you won't want to stay on the trial for 30 days is my guess. Real time eSig version should be released as soon as eSig developers certify it as an approved 3d party app. Current registered users will get it as an upgrade for 25% of the ~$199 cost. And of course I'll share gizzi (or any other) scans with you - recall we've done a few before. A beer for each of us at a roundtable - sounds fair? I haven't been doing any in QP for the past year, but I'll be glad to help you get restored. Bummer 'bout that data crash - one of our home 'puters picked up a variant Loveletter virus and I had fits getting it cleaned out. Fortunately I don't let the kids touch my main work machines. If I can help with your restoration, PM. I probably still have some of your older scans (seattlekill very early version, etc.). Also have QP backups, tho they'll send you a new disk gratis. Let me know what I can do to help. Send my regards to Ken, please. Peace and Justice --- Patrick
