Your attitude is sad. To live like there's no tomorrow will mean tomorrow will be a poorer time. Why not get progressive? The status quo can definitely be improved upon. We need independence not just from OPEC but eventually from oil itself. And we need to start now. Should have started in the 70's. Actually we did but Reagan scraped all the programs as soon as he got in. As for more oil reserves than ever - well they do go deeper - but it's still finite, perhaps even in our lifetimes.
