Ted,

Re: "......insatiable means never satisfied, and not.....using all the resources."

Obviously you haven't "thought through" the use of this word. Don't
you see the contradiction in your statement -->

Insatiable means never satisfied (I agree), however the USA doesn't
use all the world's supply of oil, thus the USA has a limited need for oil and is thus satiated.

Re: "I think we need to reduce our dependency on oil. Do you disagree?"

I don't disagree IF the oil is replaced by another energy source.
BTW, are you also against nuclear power ... That "liberal dogma thingy" again.
What would you propose to replace oil ??!!

Re: "It should have no effect if done correctly."

Please "share" your plan for this ... How long would this take ?? How
much more in expense relative to oil ??

Ted,

Re: "I think we need to reduce our dependency on oil ..."

You didn't answer my question -->

Do you believe the USA should use the same resources (or oil)
(per capita) as the rest of the world ??
