It is obvious Israel has something to hide and will not conduct an unbiased investigation

Denying journalists access to a warren filled with explosives while it was a war zone might have other motives, don't you think? Now that they are letting them in, there have been quite a few injuries from stepping on ordinance. The Independent still manages to blame Israel for this.

And Israel has sound reasons for being paranoid about the UN. Did you know that one of Annan's appointees used to be head of the ICRC? and that he denied admission to Mogen David Adom, saying if we admit the Star of David, why shouldn't we have to admit the Swastika? No kidding. Why do you suppose Israel has a problem with having their campaign judged by this guy? Could they possibly believe they are being set up?

But Israel's PR definitely stinks. They should have led guided tours for the press, just as America did in Afghanistan. Instead they yelled at journalists and shot at them.

Face some facts Zeuspaul.. The UN is sending a 3 ring circus of civilians to analyze a military engagement...

They need to send some EXPERTS in to assess if the damage caused was more excessive than would be warranted by the level of danger to Israeli troops..

The press has been screaming about Jenin, trying to make us believe the entire city was devastated, and not just a small part of it. But then we see the photos that show only 5-10% of it destroyed... Hardly what one would expect from a "massacre"...

I can see why the Israelis are balking at the selected make-up of this UN "fact-finding" mission... It's BS and stinks of a lynch mob....

Like sending a meter maid to investigate a case of reported justifiable homicide.
