An occupational hazard of shorting. It really sucks to be shorting something you know is worthless and be forced to cover due to margin. I had the same thing happen on IDNX over Christmas -- kept averaging up throughout the spike which was probably totally crazy -- at one point the market value of the short exceeded my equity. I ended up getting squeezed out of WEBX and BTX because of it but fortunately it turned South before doing further damage and now I have a very nice profit in IDNX.
