Well, I won't call it a bear market in the dollar until we sink below 100 to 105 and break the monthly trend line:

But that said, I'm sure the Fed understands that the USD is too strong and that it is hampering export growth, and making imports far too cheap..

And given the increasing tendency for the Asians to play "devaluation wars" with one another, that can only put increasing upside pressure on the USD and gold.

Thus, all the more reason for the Fed to keep rates low and increase or maintain liquidity.
