Funny...but, his antiauthoritarian outrages only make the case for less government, not more. The government can't serve special interests where it doesn't exist. It will ALWAYS serve SOME special interest where it does exist.

What was unintentionally hilarious was when Moore said there was "no recession going on right now", that we had "a little downturn for one year", that somehow the talk of recession was a scheme to hold down the common man... Moore hasn't a clue about these things, and the less he says about them, the better off he is.

The US is a liberal country? Well, I suppose the answer depends on how one defines "liberal", or on how the pollster asks the questions. Moore seems to think that where the majority does not agree with him (e.g. the death penalty), that it is a result of a successful disinformation campaign by the right, but where it does agree with him, that somehow the truth managed to break through the fog of unreason created by the right! Again, an unintentionally laughable peurile conceit. In any case, if Moore believes his views are correct, then what relevance does the belief of the masses have? He appears to speak for the masses whether they want him to or not.

These criticisms aside, I did enjoy Roger and Me, and his speech was worth a listen. Thanks...
