Just like what I've anticipated...Nasdaq Composite -- Technical -- The early advance failed to entice follow through interest with the index unable to crack resistance near 1730. Although it is still above the Feb intraday low of 1696, without sustained gains above the 1725/1730 area (next resistance 1746/1748) it will remain vulnerable to a short term breakout. Initial support, if the breakdown is seen, is at 1683/1680 followed by 1658 (62% retrace of the Sep/Jan rally).
