I don't think so. When you look at the Federal budget the increased spending due to Afghanistan barely shows up on the radar screen.

If I remember correctly we are spending less than a Billion a month on Afghanistan compared to what we had budgeted before 9-11.

Granted we are spending more on security here domestically.
