Anyone have any opinions on how long you can keep shotgun shells and still be sure they will work. I split the difference between #8 and #00 and have a box of #4s, but they are getting pretty old. Without the legalizing plug (for hunting)in it, and with one in the chamber, I can get six magnums into my Browning automatic. There actually was a murder two doors away a couple of years ago--though that was a guy who ran a disco and who invited young guys over to his house to try to have sex with them after closing time. A couple of them tied him up, gave him shots of Windex with a hypodermic needle, and finally stabbed him sixteen times. I don't think I qualify for that.
