moenmac, I live in a split entry built in 1962 in Lynnwood with about 2200 square feet and a good size lot. My taxes are about $1800 per year.

Prop. 13 in CA limited property tax increases. Tax on 2300 sq ft home in Huntington Beach, purchased in 1980 for $158K is now $2700 per year. A new owner would pay near $5000.
