Larry, I believe buyers would come in if they trusted the accounting and projected earnings. I think that issue is a serious impediment to the Fed model as a useful method for valuation in the current semi-transparent accounting environment.

That said, the bond rally is quite surprising to me. They are pretty confident the economy is going to tank down the road.
