Excellent point. And yet, you got no responses!

Over the past several years, have seen that happen almost every time a number of different posters (including me) brought up the importance of holding periods among traders when it comes to understanding where folks are coming from when they post opinions about stocks or the markets on these web threads.

Instead of a lot of time being wasted with folks often taking at instead of to eachother because they're discussing apples vs oranges? We could all learn more from each of these contributors about their short (the most common holding period), intermediate and long term thinking if more of them would mention the time frame their trade(s) are focused on as Don Sew and a few others have been doing for a long time.

Mention my own holding periods on occasion, but will try to do so more often in the future.

JMVHO.
