Oddly, the corruption of the medical profession comes more from the provisions included to satisfy those who are concerned about abuse of assisted suicide. If the matter were not subject to a formal procedure, physicians would prescribe or not proscribe as they saw fit according to their oath.

Regarding the topic on which I've been questioning you, it seems clear by now that you really don't have strong objections to federalizing things normally considered to be the prerogatives of states. Not that there's anything wrong with that...
