I think greed is a moral issue...not an economic issue.....it becomes economic by default.

If all the car dealers fail to give you what you want....you'll still buy a car....because you need to at some point.

No person needs to agree to a moral standard for the purpose of commerce....not only would that be as you suggest, like the former SU...but also it would be against the free will of man.

A deception for money...or emotion is where I find greed. NOt in everyday retailing.

I have a business. I could charge more and squeeze the last dime out of the deal....I would live better...my clients would live worse...I don't need the money at the expense of their misery or pain. I am no martyr. I actually need more money right now. But, I don't need to take it from somebody else. Pain is temporary. I'll get through.

Last year one of my businesses was legislated into destruction. I'm pissed. But I don't have to get even by squeezing my clients in my other business.

And, I have had success in my life. I wouldn't take your money just to be happier. Wonder what life would be like if more folks were like me......
