Then one replied that Israel is a colonial outpost and that as a result while Israeli Arabs may have ballots and free speech, they have no dignity. I had a learning experience on this subject a few decades ago. I was watching the original showing of Roots with a black friend. I was just horrified by the physical abuse of the slaves that was portrayed. He on the other hand was oblivious to that and was totally focused on the humiliation. I've never forgotten that lesson.

I just heard on the radio that an important Saudi cleric says that Arabs should "enslave Jewish women". This Middle East crisis is only going to get worse with inflammatory statements like that being made. IMO.
