in what sense? Did not they make it clear that they will not be on our side if we invade Iraq? Of course with all their military might it does not make that much of a difference.

ps if we ever invade Iraq and manage to put friendlier government we might suggest to them that Kuweit is really theirs :-))

That is IMO a little bit of an exaggeration, but it is true that they have become more friendly with Iraq lately.


This is, to me, bizarre, but I think it is true, too. It may be cultural, but it is beyond me how Kuwait can be "getting friendly" with Iraq as long as Saddam is in power. They cannot conceivably be foolish enough to fall for it.
