Could be. There's no denying the dropping dollar.

On the whole both the Naz and the NYSE have had strong money flows in, the Naz stronger than the NYSE but then the bulk of the money is locked up in those big stocks on the NYSE. They've been trying to distribute in an orderly fashion for months but it just gets impossible with something like a GE. Not only that, the strong money flow on the Naz is coming on down days. This has an effect where price declines are re-inforced. They are in effect saying I only want it at a discount. In a rising market one says, I want it if it looks like its going up or if it starts up. We've seen a little of that, but its mostly just short covering type buying.
