RR,

Glad to hear about your mother.

Isn't it funny how trusting one's instincts so often leads to a narrow escape? Frankly, I consider that lesson (trusting one's own instincts) to be one of the more important lessons we teach our kids.

<<I've been around a lot of hugely successful people.
A common trait they each had was a positive outlook.>>

RR: I couldn't agree more...I have observed this as well...

On Thursday afternoon I went to a Young Executives Club Lunch here in Chicago and our speaker was Norm Bobins -- ABN AMRO's dynamic CEO of North American operations. He is a self-made man and had some great insights on developing a career...As you can tell by this release, he's made an impact and moved to the top of one of the largest financial services organizations in this country...

Norm talked a lot about seizing opportunities, having a positive outlook, civic responsibilities/giving back, and leaving a legacy.

Glad to hear your mother is much better.

Hope you and the family are enjoying the weekend...I'm off to take my friend Cindy out for dinner.

regards,

-Scott
