Lindy, the UN was nothing to do with the creation of NZ and the deal with some of the Maoris [which in any event was a racist deal which is unacceptable to civilized people]. So there is nothing the UN can unsign.

Anyway, I didn't say give Israel back to those who used to live there before the UN signed up to creation of Israel - anyway, nearly all of them are dead from old age [Israel was formed over half a century ago]. I said have the UN take over and run the show.

The Treaty of Waitangi was a transiently sensible agreement which Maoris liked - most of the chiefs anyway; not all signed up. It's time to ditch it as an apartheid law which can't work.

The world seems to be half way between the law of dominance and conquest and international law. I say accelerate the process to international law.

A brand new UN HQ on Temple Mount would be a forward-looking approach to what seems an intractable problem. It would also provide a handy target for the wackoes to focus on [it should have hardened walls, good for absorbing Molotov cocktails and the odd rocket attack].
