Everything that exists is dependent for its existence upon something not itself. I, for instance, require oxygen, food, a universe to put my feet in, and so forth.

Some have devised the theory that something exists which is independent of everything not itself. They call this unconditional being, God. Others have presumed that there were such things as "morals" which were independent of everything, but somehow were infused into the absolute fabric of the universe.

No human being has ever seen anything which was unconditional. So far as any evidence can tell us, existence is finite for all people and things.
