I like PALM, AAPL and SCRM in techs. HAL in energy.
All on the basis of low market cap versus cash, tangible and intangible value. Longer-term I think there are smart buys all over the place but the crystal ball has gotten foggy, which is why they're cheap to begin with now. So you could just buy the QQQ and sit on it. The ride could be bumpy but you pick 'em when it comes to the bottom. This earnings season is perobably the bottom this year but you never know, do you? May is traditionally weak but when we have an April this bad then the chances are May could be a recovery month. Bottomline nobody knows, but the stocks I picked above I know are good values.
