No s4:t, Sherlock. Pretty much all memory types are cheaper now than they were a year ago.

It's normal for the memory industry to drop prices at about 30% or 40% per year. In addition, prices fluctuate incredibly. That's why it's fairly pointless to compare current pricing with past pricing, if what you're trying to do is figure out what is cheaper now.
