<well, i made profits trading paas in the last couple of days, that is all i know -g->

You right. It has been a good vehicle for trading. I always forget that this is another way to look at a stock. When I buy, I tend only to consider valuations and long term positioning. Just my style. I do trade somewhat..but not much.

<since june 00, the price of silver is down and the price of paas is UP...i dunno what to make of this, >

More demand than offer. Simple. Since the Bill Gates houpla that came with great fanfare, investors have piled in. Also, the company has really improved its balance sheet.

<but i'm reluctant to hold major positions in silver stocks <until i'm more sure of what is going on here

You think that there is a chance that silve rprices really collapse?

<...and maybe what is going on is a speculative bubble in
< both paas and bay ?

Well... I do not see a bubble. PAAS is somewhat overvalued..but it has real assets are on the borderline of being profitable. On BAY, if you believe the numbers, there is only one conclusion you can reach.
