I fact they have away over 1/2 their stock for company that turned out to be a commodity and that they could have bought for practically zero 18 months later. AOL had a contract to pay Bertlesman 6 BILLION for 1/2 of AOL Europe... making it over time NOT a profit center but a black hole. It was the WORST major deal I've ever seen besides perhaps the Quest deal which wiped out USW shareholders.
