The funny thing is that I've seen multiple homes in Palo Alto that were even smaller than that shack, that sold for $500k-$600k.

But of course, this isn't a bubble, because, well, everyone agrees it can't possibly burst. Isn't that enough? If we all hold hands and believe, these prices can be sustained? I know we tried it when theglobe.com was trading for $300 bucks a share, but this time we can pray *really* hard that it's not actually a bubble, but a permanently high plateau in home prices..
