Bob, thank you for sharing your thinking! I printed chart and your post and studied them. Your possible reasons for the plateau/dip in price before the rise continues is especially intriguing. We don't want to be scared out of our investment prematurely. The plateau/dip also occurs for KLAC, AMAT and KLIC suite101.com suite101.com suite101.com I hope others will give it some thought and post observations. Gottfried

Bob, I observe that price dropped drastically a couple of weeks BEFORE 9/11 - maybe because investors got tired of waiting for the V shaped recovery in bookings. stockcharts.com[w,a]waclyiay[de][pb30!f][vc60][iut!Ub14!Lp14,3,3!Lf!Lk14]&pref=G From the 9//11 low till Jan '02 price just recovered to the Aug '01 level, but then another round of bookings anticipation started, driving price to the thirties. Now the bookings recovery is solid, so there is a price pullback until the next positive can be safely anticipated. Gottfried
