Speaking of Merrill PR machine........ I see Komansky was front and center @ 4 pm on CNBC. He didn't look like a happy camper. Especially when Maria squeezed him on the 10 bil mkt cap loss and the speculation surrounding the estimated 2 bil+ cost to Merrill. He did say an agreement on reforms/monetary penalties between Merrill and the SEC/NASD/NY AG was forthcoming in the next 2 weeks. Should be interesting...of course then they'll be waiting on the tsunami of class action lawsuits. imho
